How does monthly porta potty rental billing work?
Monthly porta potty rental bills once every 28 days, not by calendar month. Each 28-day cycle is paid at the start and is not prorated. Billing stops as soon as you call or text for pickup, and no new cycle starts after that request. A one-time delivery and pickup fee covers both truck trips.

Weekly service includes five steps on every visit: pump the waste tank, wash down the inside, disinfect touch surfaces, add deodorizer, and restock toilet paper and sanitizer. The service truck keeps a set day on your route, so your crew knows when the unit will be fresh. Service is included in every 28-day cycle.
- Pump. The tank is emptied into the truck and hauled to an approved disposal site.
- Wash. Walls, floor, seat and urinal are sprayed down.
- Disinfect. Seat, handles and latch get a disinfecting wipe-down.
- Deodorize. Fresh blue deodorizer goes into the tank.
- Restock. Toilet paper and hand sanitizer are refilled.
Can I add extra service visits?
Extra service visits can be added any week, and twice-weekly service can be set as a standing schedule. Crews of 10 or more in summer, busy roadside farm stands and shops with heavy customer traffic are the usual reasons. The extra visit price shows on your quote before you add the visit.

What if a unit gets damaged or needs a swap?
A unit that gets tipped, cracked or vandalized can be swapped for a clean one on the next route day. Normal wear is ours to handle. Damage from equipment, fire or misuse is covered in the rental terms you sign before delivery, so read that section once. Call dispatch the same day damage happens.

- Broken latch or vent: fixed on the next service visit
- Hit by equipment: swapped, and the rental terms cover the charge
- Need it moved on site: the driver can reset it on a service day
Who rents porta potties by the month?
Four groups rent porta potties by the month most: home builders on long builds, farms during planting and harvest, small businesses with plumbing limits, and churches or sports fields during a season. Each group gets the same 28-day billing and weekly service. Farms with field workers have their own OSHA field sanitation rule.
Long builds

Field crews fall under OSHA 1928.110 field sanitation, which also requires hand washing. Ask about adding a station.

Food trucks, roadside markets, boat yards and car lots without public restrooms.

Do you invoice commercial accounts?
Approved commercial accounts can pay by invoice each 28-day cycle, while everyone else pays by card. Company cards are fine. Builders and property managers with several sites often move to invoicing, so each job shows on its own line. The rental agreement is e-signed once and covers every cycle until pickup.

Questions customers ask
If I only use it a week, do I pay for the full 28 days?
The first 28-day cycle is billed in full, because cycles are not prorated. If you know the job is only a week, ask for the short-term 7-day option instead before delivery.
How much is a porta potty per month?
A standard unit runs about $200–$290 per 28-day cycle with weekly service, plus a one-time delivery and pickup fee set by distance. Beaufort County is the low end of that range.
How do I stop the rental?
Call or text dispatch to request pickup. Billing stops with that request, no new cycle starts, and the unit leaves on the next pickup route.
Can I get a lock?
Ask for a lockable unit when you book. Dispatch will confirm what is available for your date and where the lock goes, so the service driver can still get in on service day.
Which day of the week is service?
Service day is set by the route that runs past your site, and dispatch tells you the day when you book. The day stays the same each week unless a holiday or storm shifts the route.
Do you invoice or charge a card each cycle?
Card payments are charged at the start of each 28-day cycle. Approved commercial accounts get an invoice instead. Either way, the amount matches the quote you signed.
What happens before a hurricane with a monthly unit on site?
Before a named storm, dispatch calls every monthly customer in the storm path to pick up or secure units. Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30. Calls go out early so there is time to clear the site.
