What do 2-stall and 3-stall restroom trailers include?

A 2-stall restroom trailer has two private rooms, each with a flush toilet, a sink, a mirror and lighting. A 3-stall restroom trailer adds a third room for bigger guest lists. Each room has its own door. Trailers arrive stocked with paper, soap and towels, and guests use them like a small building restroom.

Do I need water and power for a restroom trailer?

A restroom trailer needs a standard 110V/20-amp outlet nearby and either a garden hose connection or the trailer's onboard water. The trailer also needs level ground and open truck access for the tow vehicle. Without power, the lights and pumps do not run, so a site with no outlet should look at a VIP cabin instead.

Use an outlet on its own circuit. A trailer sharing a circuit with a caterer's warmers can trip the breaker mid-reception.

Should I get a 2-stall or a 3-stall trailer?

A 2-stall trailer suits smaller weddings and evening parties. The guest list is modest, and the event runs a few hours. A 3-stall trailer fits larger receptions or longer events where lines would form. For 200 guests or more, pair a 3-stall trailer with standard units near parking, or plan two trailers if the site has power for both.

Run your numbers with the porta potty count guide, and see trailer and cabin options for receptions on the wedding restroom page.

When is a restroom trailer the wrong choice?

A restroom trailer is the wrong choice when the site has no outlet within reach, the ground is soft sand or marsh, or the only access is a narrow gated drive. Trailers also have entry steps, so guests in wheelchairs need an ADA-style unit beside the trailer. Jobsites and big festivals do better with standard units.

Where does a restroom trailer park on Lowcountry ground?

A restroom trailer parks on level, firm ground the tow truck can reach without crossing soft lawn. Lowcountry venues often sit on sand, shell drives or marsh-edge grass that turns soft after rain. Low live oak limbs block tall trailers on many older streets and plantation-style drives, so measure clearance before booking a trailer.

Local tipAfternoon thunderstorms are common from June through September. Ask the venue where water stands after a downpour, and keep the trailer and its cord out of that spot.

From June through November, keep a storm backup date in mind. A trailer cannot stay on site through a hurricane watch.

How is a restroom trailer cleaned and stocked?

A restroom trailer arrives cleaned, sanitized and stocked with toilet paper, soap and paper towels. For a single evening, the stock lasts the event. Multi-day events add a mid-event service that pumps the waste tank, cleans each room and restocks supplies. After pickup, the trailer goes back to our yard for a full wash.

How does a restroom trailer rental run from booking to pickup?

A restroom trailer rental starts with a site check. Dispatch asks about the outlet, water, ground and access, then quotes the event. After you sign, the trailer arrives the day before, gets leveled, plugged in and hooked to water. Pickup runs Monday. Book as soon as the date is set, since spring and fall weekends fill first.

Restroom trailer, VIP cabin or deluxe units?

A restroom trailer gives several private rooms with flush toilets and sinks, but needs power, water and level access. A VIP cabin gives one private room with a smaller footprint. Deluxe units give a flush and sink with no hookups at a lower price. The site decides as often as the budget does.

Questions customers ask

Do I need water and power for a restroom trailer?

A trailer needs a standard 110V/20-amp outlet nearby and a garden hose or the onboard water tank. Without power, the lights and pumps stay off.

How much is a restroom trailer for an event weekend?

A 2-stall trailer starts from about $1,200 for an event weekend, and a 3-stall from about $1,650, before tax. Distance and site setup can change the total, and the quote lists every line.

Can guests in wheelchairs use the trailer?

Trailers have entry steps, so they do not work for wheelchair users. Add an ADA-style unit on firm ground near the trailer.

How far can the outlet be from the trailer?

The outlet should be close by on a circuit the trailer does not share with heavy loads. Dispatch confirms the distance and cord run during the site check.

Can the trailer sit on the lawn at a backyard wedding?

A dry, level, firm lawn works if the truck can reach it without rutting soft ground. Sand, marsh-edge grass and freshly soaked lawns need a different spot.

Can you set the trailer up Friday for a Saturday wedding?

Event trailers drop the day before, so Friday setup for a Saturday wedding is the normal plan. Pickup is Monday at no extra charge.

Does someone need to clean the trailer during the reception?

For a single evening, the stocked trailer usually lasts the event. Multi-day events add a mid-event service visit.
